Ultrasound cavitation

Cavitation works by using ultrasound pulses to break down the membranes of fat cells under the skin. The released fat is transported to the liver for metabolism in the normal way, just like fat from food.

ULTRASOUND CAVITATION

Ultrasound liposuction - A safe procedure

Plastic surgery is not always necessary. Minor fat deposits can be removed by cavitation. The treatment is performed with a treatment head that is moved on the skin and emits ultrasound waves. An ultrasound-conducting gel is applied between the skin and the treatment head, which is wiped off after the treatment.

The ultrasound waves are focused at a single point a few centimetres deep, where they become so powerful that they break down fat cells.

The substances released from fat cells are transported through the blood and lymphatic system to the liver and elsewhere in the body for metabolic use. Liposuction by cavitation is an effective method of removing localised fat deposits, leaves no scarring and is usually completely painless.

Treatment should be carried out in series of five treatments for best results. The clinic has a powerful cavitation machine that gives fast and good results.

The duration of the treatment is either 45-60 minutes or 30 minutes depending on the size of the area to be treated.

The most commonly treated areas are: waist, abdomen, buttocks, thighs and arms (allis).
